The website Minted is having a poster contest. They are looking for personalizable nursery, children’s or family tree wall art. The winning posters will be sold on their website, and be available in 3 different color palettes.

With the help of my little Caroline (and our sleepless nights together), I created this sugary sweet poster. My wife suggested personalizing the "What Girls are Made of" Nursery Rhyme by replacing "little girls" with a child's name.

Logoworks by HP was a custom design agency for small businesses. To help showcase the company's creativity, I frequently created custom illustrations and icons for our email campaigns. Here is an illustration I did for their "After Valentine's Logo Sale" back in 2010.

To carry the chocolate theme onto their website, I created a nutritional facts chart to display all of their logo packages.

Later that year, this email campaign received an American Inhouse Design Award from Graphic Design USA.

I am proud to introduce my newest cartridge challenge: Baby Projects!  From mobiles and nursery decor, to cards and clothing, the possibilities of what you can make for the little bundles of joy in your lives are endless. Where the challenge comes in is that you have to include an element from one of the Cricut cartridges, Cricut Craft Room digital image packs or Cuttlebug folders that I created. To date, the only baby items I created can be found on Word Collage (baby sign and embossing folder) and Stork's Delivery (Sugar & Spice font), so you'll have to get crafty!!! And in keeping with the theme, the winner will receive one of my Cutie Pie baby card kits.

Create a baby themed project using any of my Cricut items or Cuttlebug folders. Post a picture of your project to your blog/website with a link to my blog. Submit the link to your project on this post. I will leave a comment on your blog to let you know I received your entry. A photo and link to each entry will be showcased on my blog the day the winner is announced.

The winner will receive one of my Cutie Pie card kits.
The cartridge challenge is open to all followers of Typecast Creative. You can create any type of project you like: card, tag, mini album, scrapbook page, home decor item, etc. I will select the winning project that best showcases my cartridge art.

Last week my wife and I welcomed a new baby girl into our little family. Our sweet Caroline was born January 26, and weighed in at 6 lbs 9 oz.

To celebrate her arrival, I wanted to share another card kit that I created for Cherries Jubilee Creations. The Cutie Pie card kit was filled with everything you would need to create 6 darling baby cards. I filled the kit with Nursery Rhyme inspired papers, borders, embellishments and tags. Here are the papers and borders:

To help us showcase what you could make with this card kit, we enlisted the help of Melissa Phillips from LilyBean's Paperie. Here are the four darling cards she created:
